PaTSO Teacher's Appreciation Committee (TAC) would love to kick off the school year by showing our teachers and staff how much we appreciate them! Let's stock the lounges with snacks, treats and coffee.
If you are at the grocery store or Costco this week, please consider picking up an extra box or two of snacks or K-cups. We also have an Amazon wishlist. You can ship directly to the school. Please select Henley Middle School at checkout.
Please deliver or drop off any items by Tuesday, October 1.
You can send items in with your child to leave at the front office OR porch drop off any day before 10/1. Porch Drop Off Location: 288 Claremont Lane, Crozet

HOSPITALITY - Year Round
Help PaTSO celebrate Teachers and Staff! Includes special events like a Back-to-School Lunch, Holiday Breakfast, Parent-Teacher Conferences, Administrative Professionals Day, and Teacher Appreciation Week. We need food, servers/set-up, and hosts. Also includes purchase of PaTSO-funded gifts, hand-written cards, and other appreciations.
DANCE CHAPERONES - As Needed for Events
Chaperone dances / student hang-outs, typically held right after school from 4:00-6:00 on a Friday.
NEW FAMILIES SOCIAL - September
PaTSO invites all parents new-to-Henley to a social event that takes place during the 6th Grade Student Dance. Bring & set out food, and then mingle with new members of the Henley community.
STUDENT COUNCIL LIASON - Year-Round
Be the liason between PaTSO and student led activities at Student Council Association (SCA). Helps ensure we are staggering events and volunteers throughout the year. The SCA also helps gather student input for how the PaTSO can best support them!
BOOK FAIR - September
& LIBRARY SUPPORT - On-Going
Help with special events at the library, like the Book Fair in early September and other opportunities throughout the year.
BUZZ BUCKS CAMPAIGN Sept - October
We strive to be a “Sell No Stuff” school so our one time ask of parents is a financial one during our Buzz Bucks Campaign. We need volunteers to help update the funds ‘thermometer’ and work as, and with, the Campaign chair and Business Sponsor chair to make this event a success
HALLOWEEN HANGOUT - October
Help plan, decorate, donate food/drinks, sell pizza and chaperone this fun student event!
SOL HALL MONITORS - May
Additional help is always appreciated during SOLs, monitoring halls etc.
8th GRADE DANCE - May
Both 7th & 8th grade parents are encouraged to sit on this committee. MANY hands are needed to decorate, prepare food, design and send invitations, chaperone, and more!
